Jasmin Townsend is an Associate Attorney at Kasaby Schmoke. She was born and raised in Council Bluffs, IA. She attended College of Saint Mary in Omaha, NE where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in an ABA Accredited Legal Studies Program in 2017. She attended The University of Kansas School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2020.
Jasmin’s passion for immigration law began when she joined the firm in 2016 as a legal intern. She gained significant insight and experience with immigration law through her earlier roles as a file clerk, legal assistant, and law clerk. Since 2016, Jasmin has developed and refined her advocacy skills by remaining dedicated to navigating the complexities and changes of the United States immigration system. Jasmin represents non-detained and detained clients in immigration proceedings, border deportation defense, family-based immigration applications, naturalization, u-visas, special immigrant juvenile visas, and appeals before the Board of Immigration in Virginia. Jasmin also has experience representing clients in Iowa DUI cases.
