Lucas Wood is an Associate Attorney at Kasaby Schmoke. He was born and raised in central Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in English. He attended The University of Nebraska College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2018.
Lucas developed a passion for immigration law during undergrad when he had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for his international law professor. Since joining the firm as a law clerk during law school his passion and knowledge for immigration law has continued to grow. Lucas represents non-detained and detained clients in immigration proceedings, removal defense, family-based immigration applications, employment-based immigration applications, naturalization, U-visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile visas, and appeals before the Board of Immigration in Virginia. Lucas also has experience representing clients in criminal cases.
